I am constantly influenced by the ever changing environment, and the surrounding countryside. As well as spending a lot of time daydreaming, I find inspiration visiting art galleries and browsing art blogs. I work in mixed media, creating intricate works often inspired by flora and fauna and I like to try and combine traditional and abstract elements, taking aspects from traditional botanical artwork and ink drawings of wildlife.

I post work frequently on Instagram @theinkydeer where you will see work in progress photos and snippets of new pieces and things that inspire me.
At present, I exhibit work in my local gallery from time to time, and in 2014 exhibited my first overseas piece in Massachusetts, USA.
I have an Etsy shop The Inky Deer, where I sell prints in a range of sizes, greetings cards and other handmade illustrated goods.
I have also recently started selling with Society6, where you can buy select pieces of my work on a range of items such as pillows, throws, phone covers and more.
