Moleskine pages on Tumblr + Bloglovin'

Hello!

I recently joined tumblr, and I have to say, I am ever so slightly addicted to it!
A favourite blog of mine is Moleskine Lovers. <<definitely check it out, theres an amazing variety of art on there!
I love to use my Moleskine journals for little paintings and sketches, so when I found a blog full of pages of other people's artwork in their Moleskine books, I was so inspired.
Here are a couple of my Moleskine watercolour/ink paintings that I uploaded to my tumblr:

A Violet VortexMelting

I experimented a bit, and they ended up having quite a futuristic feel!
The first, 'A Violet Vortex'; titled as such due to me thinking the swirls of ink I had done spiralled into a whirlwind/vortex landscape- in a world full of cosmic radiation or something...
The next one was entitled 'Melting'; I actually painted the blue watercolour wash background before I even knew what the subject was going to be. This is usually the case with most of my artwork. I never plan anything out. I just draw/paint and see what happens, which is sometimes quite cathartic. With the second piece, I felt it had an icy feel, so I used ink to draw the polar bear and again, swirled loops and lines in ink with fading ink/watercolour dripping down, to symbolise the melting polar ice caps...

I forgot to link 'Melting' back to my tumblr when I uploaded it to Moleskine lovers, so here it is if you wish to have a look please do;
